Wimbledon High Street winds its way through the heart of leafy Wimbledon Village. It is lined with busy cafes, shops and iconic pubs like the Dog and Fox, a favourite spot during Wimbledon fortnight. This winter sunset scene was originally a commission for the Wimbledon Museum’s Christmas card. It is inspired by Japanese woodblock prints from the 19th and early 20th Century with their dramatic skies and exaggerated angles.
Printed by hand in London using water based inks on Fabriano 300gsm paper. All prints are signed and numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity.
My prints are handmade and colours will vary slightly from print to print, especially those with blended skies and paths.
£100.00 unframed. Framed as shown £125.00 in a plain white wood ayous frame. Framed items to be collected or delivered locally. Unframed print will be posted flat.
