I was inspired to create a triptych - each part a separate print but together creating a larger scene - by the woodblock prints of master Japanese printmaker Hiroshige on show at a wonderful exhibition at the British Museum.
This view of the start of Wimbledon Common is one of my favourites spots and a great place to sketch. You have intriguing views down each path and fantastic contrasts of light and shade created by the tunnels of trees.
Printed by hand in London using water based inks on Fabriano 300gsm paper. All prints are signed and numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity.
My prints are handmade and colours will vary from the example shown on screen as the skies are hand blended.
£130.00 unframed. £170 framed as shown. Framed items must be collected or delivered locally. Unframed print will be posted flat.
